WiFi that works for your business
Guest WiFi with your pub's name on it, and your business kept separate.
A branded WiFi front door for pubs, hotels, restaurants, cafés, salons and gyms, from £39 per venue per month with no VAT added. The router arrives configured — plug it into a spare port on your broadband router and your guests are online, on their own network, well away from the till and the office PC.
WiFi that works for your business
Guest network
Free WiFi, on us.
Three hours, no questions asked.
What every Hotwireless venue gets
What you are actually buying
A managed guest network, not a spare router behind the bar.
Three things every venue gets on day one: a login page with your name on it, guests kept off your business network, and someone else looking after the hardware.
Your branded front door
Guests see your logo, your colours and your wording when they connect. Free access behind your terms of use, with advertising, vouchers or paid access available as add-ons, and time and bandwidth limits set per tier.
Learn moreGuests off your own network
Guests go on their own network, separate from the one your business runs on. Your card terminal, office PC and booking system are not sitting alongside whoever came in for a pint.
Learn moreThe router is ours to run
We configure it, test it and box it, dispatch it from within the UK with nothing to pay on delivery, then look after it once it is in. Portal changes, access rules and fixes are our job, not yours.
Learn moreGetting started
Four steps, and you only do the last one.
Tell us about the venue, we build and test your router here, it arrives, you plug it in. The venue is live the day the box lands.
Tell us about the venue
A short form — what sort of place it is, roughly how big, and what you want guests to see. Send us your logo and colours and they go on the login page.
We build it here
Your router is configured and tested with your branding on the login page before it is boxed. Nothing is left to be worked out on your premises.
It arrives ready
Plug it into a spare port on your broadband router and into a power socket. Your branded login page comes up. Nothing to rip out.
You are live
Portal wording, access rules and support are handled for you from then on, usually the same day you ask.
Guest WiFi security
Is your Guest WiFi safe?
A 60-second check for venues that hand out the same WiFi password to everyone. No tech knowledge needed.
Free WiFi keeps customers in their seats and spending, but the way most venues set it up quietly puts the business at risk long before it puts anyone’s data at risk. One shared password on one flat network is all it takes.
Take the 60-second check- Guests connect to the same network as your card terminal, till, booking computer or cameras. One network for the whole building.
- Everyone gets the same WiFi password, and it rarely changes. Chalked on the board, printed on the receipt, or told to whoever asks.
- You collect guest email addresses or mobile numbers at the login and market to them, without a separate opt-in you could produce as evidence. A WiFi login is not marketing consent. PECR treats those as two different things.
The part most venues get wrong
Your guests should not be on your business network.
Chalking the office WiFi password on a board puts every phone that walks in onto the same network as your card terminal, your office PC and your booking system. We split them apart and keep them apart.
- ✓ Separate networks: guests go on their own network, not the one your business runs on.
- ✓ No shared password: access is granted at the login page, so there is no password doing the rounds among staff and regulars.
- ✓ Kept up to date: we manage the router and keep its software current, without leaving it open to the internet.
- ✓ Limits that hold: time and bandwidth caps per access tier keep the line usable through a Friday night.
Two networks, one line
Your business network
Card terminal, office PC, booking system, back office.
Your guest network
Every phone and laptop that connects at the login page.
Kept apart
Guests reach the internet. They do not reach your side of the router.
Set up, configured and managed by us on the router we supply.
